Wright Maritime Group (WMG), founded in 1990 and US domesticated in 2000, is an operations manager of private yachts ranging between 100-150 meters with approximately 1,400 seafarers employed.
WMG also acts on behalf of private clients in the contract, design, specification, construction oversight, commissioning, delivery and operations of yachts in the 100-150+ meters.
In addition to Mission Resolve, WMG sits on the Lloyds Register North America Advisor Committee. WMG also sits on the Cayman Island Shipping Registry CISAC-YC, Cayman Island Shipowners’ Advisory Council related to large yachts.
With its headquarters based in the Fort Lauderdale Academy building, with new construction shipyard project offices in Northern Europe, Wright Maritime’s fleet operates globally, including in the Polar regions.Â
WMG’s staff includes licensed merchant masters, x-chief engineers, retired USCG officers, Masters of accounting, and law degree holders. In addition to being a licensed Merchant Master, their CEO has served as President of the International Superyacht Society and was the founding Chairman of the Society’s Technical Committee.
