VOICES OF NUCLEAR joins NEMO!

Voices of Nuclear (VoN) is the citizens’ pro-nuclear, expert, advocacy movement for Europe and beyond.

Working as an honest broker between producers of nuclear energy and its end-users, Voices of Nuclear believes in a responsibly managed nuclear power sector that creates abundant low carbon electricity to support Europe’s economic development and energy sovereignty.

VoN asserts that only nuclear power has the potential to meet the ever-increasing demand for electricity and must therefore be a keystone of the transition away from fossil fuels; they also understand that development of the sector must benefit society more widely to gain the support of the public and its representatives. 

Active in national and international political forums and policy consultations, as well as in town squares, and broadcast and print media, Voices of Nuclear calls for realistic, nuclear-centric policy for energy and infrastructure development across Europe and beyond.

They open new avenues of thought, establish or strengthen ties between nuclear, its ecosystems, and its beneficiaries and work to improve the context in which nuclear projects can emerge.

Voices of Nuclear interventions have led to nuclear power being an indispensable part of energy policy discussions, and their work has contributed to a step change in public support for nuclear energy.
