September Newsletter: ATLAS Takes Flight

A defining moment for maritime nuclear energy.

At the International High-Level Forum marking the launch of the IAEA’s ATLAS Initiative in Washington, D.C., NEMO was at the forefront of discussions on the future of maritime nuclear energy. NEMO shared its expertise and industry leadership across three panel sessions, and received significant recognition throughout the event for its leadership, expertise and contributions, underscoring its role as a leading voice in the development of the maritime nuclear sector.

NEMO welcomes IAEA Director General, Rafael Mariano Grossi and U.S. Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright’s support for international cooperation around the safe, secure and safeguarded use of nuclear technologies at sea. In the spirit of that collaboration, NEMO proudly marked the launch of the IAEA ATLAS Initiative by hosting a reception.
