Virginia brings deep experience across public service and the nuclear sector, alongside a track record of convening industry, policymakers and stakeholders to support the deployment of clean, secure energy. Her appointment comes at a pivotal moment for NEMO as the organization builds on its growing international profile and advances its mission.
Virginia served as a Member of the UK Parliament (2019–2024), where she led the Nuclear Delivery Group and chaired the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Small Modular Reactors. She is currently Chair of SONE (Supporters of Nuclear Energy) and a Board Director of the Nuclear Institute.
As Managing Director, Virginia will focus on strengthening operational delivery, growing membership and partnerships, and ensuring NEMO’s Working Groups and convening activity translate into clear outcomes and visible impact.
